From my office window, I could see my neighbor Jessie spending countless hours working on his newly acquired 1972 Dodge Charger. I soon realized I had a great Makers Series subject right next door, so I started photographing his exacting process. My dog Brando and his dog Chevy were always part of the scene as I documented Jessie passionately restoring this classic car to match his vision of all that it could be.
